Kindness is Magical

My sense of magic is that when I am aligned with source and embodied in the world, I have access to a supportive energy that moves things into my awareness and brings what I need into my life. In a way this progress is without effort that can affect who we meet and where we find ourselves over a lifetime.

I was reading an article about how good and evil is a modern human made concept, as if there are opposites in the world that we have to handle. In old fairy tales when we are kind, people or creatures show up to help us in our quests. We don’t need evil to make this happen, but it can foil those who are unkind by elevating those who are aligned in love. In my personal experience spirit is never about good and evil, it's not black and white. It only asks that we acknowledge our choices with accountability, and choose the next thing, something more in alignment with our path to love or compassion. The human element we bring to nature is love. Love is a spiritual quality that gives us reason to live and in itself has magical properties that move us along spiritually.

How to practice this way of being kind is sometimes frustrating as the feeling can be lost in the world’s problems and constructs. Sometimes when we look at nature it also seems unkind to the innocent. But nature has it’s own transformative power that is not driven by morality, but by a systematic resourcefulness in which each life feeds another with complete sustainability.

Human kindness is an energy that comes from a pure heart and that is a magical place to live. While it can be child like, it is not naive, but comes from inner wisdom and grace.
