In energy work, resistance typically adds to the problem, until we get enough contrast and it all goes to s--t. The dual push and pull is designed to create a situation where we can see it all the more clearly, and then recognize when our story doesn't align to our vision, then make the necessary correction in our navigation system with the goal to create what we want rather than to continue to push away what we don't want. These thoughts came about from seeing how the "never again" movement has gone in terms of preventing genocide in the world. There is understandable resistance to this statement that symbolizes keeping a memory alive. Now we want to recall those ancestors who suffered, and prevent future suffering. I think through ignorance of the powerful effects of our thoughts and feelings we perpetuate suffering. Id' like to see that change.
What I would ask is, when we make the statement, "Never Again", are what is feeling and experience you create when you make the statement and hold the energy of it? What feeling/frequency do you vibrate or resonate within when making that statement? Because THAT feeling is what you are asking for energetically. If you feel love and positive warmth of remembrance for your lost ones- YES, However if you feel anger, frustration, victimized, hateful, and/or anguish, any number of painful feelings or pushing resistance, THAT is what you are creating. We most often hold feelings on both sides of the issue. This is the duality that creates the contrast between what you want and what you don't want. Push and pull.
I am for raising awareness, but there must be an additional process required to heal and move forward, to really change the world. There is a place for resistance in recognizing the problem, and in owning it. And then what?
What is is about never again that we experience? We don't want to be powerless! We don't want to be victims. Contrast to that might be feeling powerful to create our lives, live as we wish, and be in a happy supportive place with our loved ones. Or, in the extreme it could look like having power over others, which falls into a victim/aggressor dynamic, and creates even more suffering, and more contrast. Holding others to be responsible, or take, responsibility for our feelings fits into the victim aggressor model. We begin releasing them and our pain when we own and forgive within ourselves.
In Law of Attraction terms, healing might look like this: What are we grateful for in this situation? Gratitude creates a change in the energetic space we hold for the planet. When we focus on this, how do we feel? Gratitude is a powerful practice that brings us into alignment with a higher vibration. We begin to attract more of that vibration of what we love. The less we focus on the old story, and more on the love, we can recreate our experience with a new energetic picture of what we want in the world. When we can hold that new energetic picture, our world does eventually change. We've been waiting a long time, so let's begin now.
This is a start on my exploration of activism through conscious creation. . .
