The topic of manufactured meat has been circulating. I trust nature to provide. I find the idea of lab grown meat to be questionable and slightly repulsive. Or is it just another type of cooking? I question the carbon footprint as well. Here's why.
Animals are part of the natural ecosystem and consuming meat also includes being a part in nature and the amazing cycle of life provided by the Earth. Being in balance with in that cycle, where all life is honored for its contribution, is the current challenge as human population goes out of control. From a spiritual perspective, (unless you can live on light alone as our non-physical guides so easily can do), the whole system is based on giving and receiving where each participant in the ecosystem gives as much as it takes. This includes feces and ultimately the physical body. Growing rice is easy and what it gives and takes from the whole is balanced within these limits. Animals being so much more complex offer a deeper level of giving and taking that includes presence, feelings, carbon dioxide, energy etc. ... Humans give and take to the richness of the earth experience in a unique way. We are intelligent (sometimes) and it may be our purpose to support all life by consciously choosing healthy patterns that respect the balance of the whole. We would be wise to learn form nature Giving and receiving is the place of the heart. This is where we find balance between physical and spiritual energies. This is why we have so much passion about the planet, and living here on Earth.

Bad energy! There was a point when I just had it with the stalemate and the Republican party. Democrats were not looking better to me. After the election I had a vision that showed me how in wishing to "take down" the offending parties, I had bought into a movement that was actually weakening the government, resulting in current leadership problems rather than in diverse and humanitarian leadership.
I was able to pull my energy out of that negative group vortex. And its reminded me of an ongoing look at the big picture energy behind how things happen on the planet. Vision is key to creating what we want for the future. What vision do we hold, and how do we see ourselves in that vision? Better energy! The truth is that at any given time there are people of all levels and beliefs on the planet. Sometimes we get all caught up in the struggles and give our power away (through violence and hate, and sometimes even through protest and opposition. We fail to see that we are all exploring truth and reality. When we accept the differences as part of the amazing diversity of culture, and of thought, then we can see more clearly where to put our own creative energy without needing to be in opposition to one another. Its a bit of an idealist rant, but there is power in recognizing our part in the duality quagmire. I love that activists take responsibility for the health of the earth and people and animals. It may not be all their problem, but we all live our lives in the resulting environment. We know there are consequences to our thoughts and actions. however, sometimes we don't realize we are putting our energy into the very thing we are protesting, just by protesting. In a way protest is owning that there is a problem, Resistance is a step towards recognizing and owning our part in the creation our experience. When we own our energy, we show up, we heal, release and create new ways of responding to old patterns. It is those who are creating alternatives who are my hero's. When problems are recognized as challenges and lead to creative insight and ultimately to sustainable solutions. The earth is changing into a new pattern or energy matrix that supports and amplifies positive change. We harness great power when work in alignment with the earth's purpose of BALANCE. We find ways to harvest water from air, we use plants to clean waterways we create alternative energy vehicles, we change our community, and shelter everyone in a safety and harmony, with love for all. When we see challenges or problems, and own them, Then we can create a vision and walk into that vision, aligned with our creative potential. This is when we own our power. In energy work, resistance adds tension, when we get enough tension, it creates a vibration of conflict. Sooner or later we notice and recognize that our story doesn't align with our belief.
When we try to push away our suffering with anger, outrage, or fear, the powerful effects of our thoughts and feelings perpetuate that suffering. Fear and hatred are our worst enemies. Because we tend to push away, repress, or avoid these feelings, they create unexpected results... energetically fear and hatred create and maintain the dynamic of victim/ aggressor. There is understandable resistance in this statement "never again" that symbolizes resistance and survival. I see that it keeps the energy of the unwanted experience alive as well. To recall our suffering or the suffering of our ancestors, does not prevent future suffering or the suffering of others, unless we ourselves take action. Holding two conflicting beliefs attracts more of that same conflict. That terrible thing has happened to me vs I want to be loved and respected. Sometimes they are simply outdated, maybe belonged to our parents or culture, or we feel we have moved on but still hold resentment, anger or energy of that past experience. Coming to terms with those feelings and beliefs we hold that we don't like, can be as easy as accepting our own part in the experience. When we think of "Never Again", or gun violence, or "me too" what is the feeling and experience created when you make the statement and hold the energy of it? What feeling/frequency do you vibrate or resonate within when making a statement of NO? THAT feeling is what you are asking for energetically. If you feel love and positive warmth of remembrance for your experience- YES. Is anger, frustration, victimization, hate, and/or anguish the stronger feeling? Painful feelings can create great resistance, and we often hold feelings on both sides of the issue. This dual push pull experience creates inner and outer conflict between what you want and what you don't want. When you hold both energies, the universe can't bring one without bringing the other. We can be so strong in our beliefs about what we don't want, that it becomes the more powerful belief and the universe gravitates to what we give the most energy. That power is the magnetic pull that brings us more energy of the same vibration. What is it that we experience when we use this statement- never again, or no on any event or experience? Women have said NO and we still hold that energy of being victimized, objectified, less powerful. The danger is when we hold both yes and no we get stuck in the dynamic of holding on to the resistance of what we don't want, and the truth of what we do want. We don't want to be powerless! We don't want to be victims. We don't want to be a NO! YES is a feeling of empowerment where we create our lives, live as we wish, in a happy supportive place with our loved ones. In the extreme it could look like having power over others, which falls back into a victim/aggressor dynamic. Holding others, to be responsible, or wanting them to take responsibility for our feelings, fits into the victim aggressor model. When we don't take responsibility for our own experience, its kind of like saying to your aggressor, you are responsible, you have the power; therefore, I don't. Never again seems to be holding onto a wound. In this case it almost seems like the whole culture is holding that same vibration, as story, as memory, as an energetic signature. It could look like victimization, sorrow, loss, martyrdom, sacrifice, it could even feel like a responsibility or burden. When you hold this energy as your truth, you call in more of the same, just like a magnet. When we own our true feelings and forgive ourselves for our complicity, we can heal ourselves. "Me too", may be a step toward self empowerment if we don't also hold (and therefore attract) the old image of women as the "weaker sex". We cannot blame others and still own our power. It is in the present that we heal and create. Gratitude is one way to create a change in the energetic space we hold for the planet. Gratitude brings us into alignment with a present time and higher vibration. As we change our experience to gratitude, love, and heal through compassion, we begin to attract more of that vibration. When we can recreate our experience with a new energetic picture, by seeing ourselves and our ancestors from a vibration of gratitude, a new story unfolds. The things that we were in resistance to are no longer in our story, they leave our energy field, no longer a magnet for wounds. There is a place for resistance in recognizing problems, and in owning them. But don't get stuck there. Then what? Take the step to look deeply and see where you may be holding the energy of resistance and find a way to forgive self and others. In the present there is no blame. Be present, Love who we are as individuals, as women, as a collective, as a culture. Accept joy in living here and now by saying YES and inviting more positive feelings and experiences into life. Create a vision where there is equality. Where are your NO's, and are they in conflict to your YES's? Its all about holding the vision clearly. An energetic picture creates your reality. Create a vision where there is equality, joy, truth and love. What does it feel like, sound like, taste like? We are all divine expressions of spirit and when we hold a vision, we are creating the possibility to make our vision real for ourselves. This is an exploration of activism through conscious creation. . . I know this seems like a simplistic picture, but sometimes it's the simple things we do that create real change. |
